The Disability Awareness Players are a dynamic and interactive troupe that train businesses to integrate disability-aware customer service and employment practices into core business strategies. Whole Foods, Siemens Corporation, Northern Trust, Steppenwolf, Sam's Club and 1871 are just a few of the businesses that have improved their disability awareness by participating in these trainings.
jjslist.com and Search, Inc.
Innovation and entrepreneurialism have always been at the core of Search's values and, in 2013, the organization announced a merger with jjslist.com (then known as JJ's List). With an influx of new resources, jjslist.com was able to strengthen its mission to provide essential training, education and advocacy to build opportunities for young adults with disabilities. Search gained a powerful partner and expanded opportunities for individuals in its programs to promote disability awareness and participate in self-advocacy activities through jjslist.com. In the fall of 2013, jjslist.com and Search collaboratively launched No Boundaries, a supported education program designed to help individuals with disabilities build workplace skills, obtain competitive employment, achieve personal and career goals and participate more fully in their communities.
